Tensions in the courtroom soared Friday when a defense lawyer questioned Detective David Scicchitano about deleted video footage from the night of Timothy Piazza’s bid acceptance.

“There’s an allegation that one of these 18 people sitting over here deleted that video,” said Karen Muir, who is representing Braxton Becker. “The commonwealth opened that door.”
