BELLEFONTE, Pa. – Eight former Beta Theta Pi members will face another preliminary hearing after a judge granted a motion filed by the attorney general’s office.
Centre County President Judge Pamela Ruest granted a motion Monday to reintroduce charges against eight former members. The charges will be heard in front of a different judge.
“The Commonwealth in good faith has alleged improper dismissal by Magisterial District Judge (Allen) Sinclair,” the order reads……..
Sinclair dismissed involuntary manslaughter and other charges against the eight defendants in March, following an appeal filed by the attorney general’s office, which took over the case
