Hazing News

Charles Blow’s memoir now performed at The Met.

Long ago I read Charles Blow’s powerful memoir, which includes his description of hazing. Now the book has been adapted into a powerful performance at the Met from what I gather. I hope I can attend and see step dancing for myself and make my own observations.  Review excerpt and link.
“The third act includes a hazing scene involving the fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi. The a capella step dance that the brothers perform is in some ways out of place in the opera, but extremely impressive. During the performance that I attended, the dance received the loudest applause of the night.”
