Delaware congressman’s son named in Sig Ep civil suit by Tucker Hipps’ parents

Here is the link and a brief excerpt

A wrongful death lawsuit says that Samuel Quillen Carney, [Delaware congressman John Carney’s] son and a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity who helped organize the run, did not attempt to locate Hipps or determine his well being after he went over the bridge “into the shallow waters of Lake Hartwell.” In other news, the sheriff investigating the death of Hipps says no information unknown to him was in the lawsuit. The sheriff says charges may or may not ever be filed.
