Louisiana chapter lands in hot sauce with the law and school officials

The linked newspaper article says that this Louisiana chapter faces not only hazing but a bunch of other mayhem, to wit:

“The eight charges Phi Psi faces at the upcoming panel hearing are: assault and battery, hazing; rioting or inciting to riot; possession or use of firearms or weapons; failure to comply with the official regulation or instruction of the University; consuming or possessing alcoholic beverages; committing an act or attempting to commit an act on campus that would be in violation of city, parish, state or federal law; and attempting to commit any of the listed offenses.

The incident involved a Phi Psi pledge member who allegedly assaulted another University student during a fraternity event.”

Whew! Talk about landing in hot sauce!
