ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) – The Sigma Chi chapter sued George Mason University last year in U.S. District Court after it was expelled from campus. The organization argues that its members’ free speech and due process rights were violated after a three-student panel found it guilty of hazing, providing alcohol to minors and sponsoring parties that resulted in sexual assaults against female guests. If a judge rules the case can go forward, the trial could start March 5th.
