The following is the response received from Stephen F. Austin University for an update to the death from alcohol poisoning of Nikki Gallegos at a Tau Kappa Epsilon party.
My name is Jonathan Elder and I am the Coordinator of Student Organizations and Greek Life at SFASU. After doing some research on your question about Nik, our Judicial Affairs officer said the case was never referred to her office for hazing. The national office has also visited campus after the incident and found no wrong doing on the chapter’s part. Â
