Thomas A. Leemon dies at 91

Noting the 2025 passage of Thomas A. Leemon. Back in 1977 when I did the legwork for my first 1978 database on hazing, I contacted this professor for an interview. He was civil, hardly cooperative, and quite displeased I was going to focus on deaths by hazing in my Human Behavior article. Nonetheless, I had learned a lot from his book, and he knew his subject. I clearly remember my frustration when I got off the phone with him. Fortunately, several other scholars who had written dissertations on hazing were open to being interviewed. https://www.tc.columbia.edu/newsroom/announcements/2026/september/sad-news-the-passing-of-thomas-a-leemon/
