Moderator: I hope East Carter’s opposing schools will talk long and hard to their students about the issues of hazing and sportsmanship. Whatever players do play for ECHS (Missouri) this year will need a lot of courage just to suit up. My hope is that opposing teams will realize this and give them a sportsmanlike greeting. As this note from an ECHS parent said:
“Children can be so cruel ….. I hope what is left of our ball team gets a standing ovation when they walk into a gym of another school. God knows it will take every thing they have to do it!”
