Here is the story link

Moderator comment: All of you and Carson’s parents hit a home run even before you came to bat. Bravo.

Excerpt:

Nearly three years after the death of Cal Poly student Carson Starkey, several sororities came together to raise money for his parents’ foundation to stop alcohol poisoning and hazing rituals on college campuses.
Fraternity Pi Kappa Alpha held their 2nd annual “Homeruns Against Hazing” softball tournament.
Starkey’s family started the non-profit “Aware Awake Alive” to prevent another child from dying of alcohol poisoning.
All proceeds from the homeruns for hazing tournament will go to the foundation.
It was a day filled with cheering, and great plays. Six sororities battling it out for softball bragging rights.
