Penn State’s image woes continue: Little sister’s group accused of beatings

Bianca Jeanty, 21, of Maplewood, N.J., Hanif Johnson, 22, of Harrisburg, and Felicia Ragsdale, 22, of State College, are charged with simple assault, conspiracy and summary offenses.

In a criminal complaint, police said the three repeatedly slapped, punched and kicked Asya Trowell in early April, when the woman was a freshman at Penn State.

Trowell told police the assaults were part of the pledging process for Omega Essence, an unauthorized “little sisters” group with the fraternity Omega Psi Phi.
