December 22 Fred P. Bronner died on this date in 1972. He was already a member but three Chi Chi Chi brothers at Pierce College abducted him anyway and dropped him in the mountains without glasses. Bronner had very poor eyesight and plunged to his death off a 500-foot cliff trying to get back to campus.Â It took many days for rescuers to find the body.
