Desdunes was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity who was found deceased on a couch in the library of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity during the morning hours of February 25, 2011.

Representatives of fraternity did not appear in court and a corporate summons will be issued.
