Background on the Iowa hazing decision: lawsuit by Phi Delta Theta and statement by UI Athletics Director Bob Bowlsby: no hazing occurred

The University of Iowa is now facing a lawsuit from a fraternity chapter regarding a past incident and how it was handled. Was this Phi Delta Theta lawsuit a factor in why the university shied away from calling a baseball incident a case of hazing? Read and draw your own conclusions.
